Event description

One of the most difficult challenges a woodworker will face in pursuing their craft is an economic one. How does one who creates bespoke handmade items compete with mass production, mass marketing, and mass media? In a series of short presentations followed by collective discussion, we pose this question to woodworkers who have managed to achieve success in this market using innovative, sometimes collaborative, sometimes subversive models. From online retail to high end commissions and everything in between, our speakers will help us explore the avenues a woodworker can take to balance their income with their creative output.

Panel speakers include Hannah Beatrice Quinn, Jared Rusten and Greg Zall
The exhibition and programming is supported by The Krenov Foundation.
