Event description

Open Studios (formerly Studio Tours) is a two-night event during which guests meet the designers and creators behind some of the city’s most admired products, designs and brands. Open Studios are held at various architecture and design studios, shops, galleries and startups around San Francisco allowing studios to share their products and projects to professionals and design enthusiasts. Experience the best of the Bay Area design with us! All studios will be open from 6-9 PM.

Future Cities Lab
Future Cities Lab is an experimental design studio, workshop and architectural think tank operating globally out of San Francisco, California. Since 2005, founding principals Jason Kelly Johnson and Nataly Gattegno have collaborated on a range of award-winning projects exploring the intersections of art and design with advanced fabrication technologies, robotics, responsive building systems, and public space. Future Cities Lab is an interdisciplinary studio employing an adventurous team of interaction designers, architects, technologists, digital craftspeople, urban ecologists, and more. Along with the open house, we are crowdsourcing recipes for the SF Design Week cocktail book. Come and work with a Cibo mixologist to create your very own cocktail and submit for inclusion in the book. After cocktails, dance the night away in our silent disco with beats from celebrity DJ P-10.
