LIVING (in) COLOR: Within boundaries of space is an exploration of art: technology: community
What we seek to witness and provoke is the embodiment of spirit within a place. We ask ourselves: HOW does spirit dwell? WHERE does spirit dwell, and is that a physical place or a mental space and how does one affect the other? Where and what is defined as “space” within this Urban, urbane, profound, profane human existence-

Gabriel Dunne: Influenced by the polarity, contrast and balance between light and shadow, Dunne’s latest work illuminates and draws connections between fragmented relationships between inner, physical, and virtual spaces, exploring physical reality and its relationship to the intangible perceptions of the mind and spirit.. Dunne seeks to create a space for contemplative solace that dwells in the eternal void, yet is grounded in the shared experience of observable, tangible reality.
Phil Reyneri: is an artist and technologist who combines sculpture, video projection, and generative graphics to blur the lines between digital and physical media. As an artist-in-residence at IDEO, he is developing Lightform, a new type of projection-mapping system for art, design, and augmented reality. In 2013 Phil designed software behind Bot & Dolly’s short film “Box,” which won multiple awards including Siggraph’s Best in Show, a Cannes Silver Lion, and Prix Ars Electronica’s Award of Distinction.
The Frank Brothers: “For us, painting is prayer, painting is sanctuary. It is a devotional practice met with equal parts reverence and lightness. We find magic embedded in form as it arises from formlessness. Our goal is to create work that is resonant on a soul level. Our interest is in raising the vibration of baseline consciousness. Much of our efforts center around creating sacred space and the development of a charged, symbolic iconography…visual medicine. ” Daniel Frank
Charles Karim Aweida is a new media artist exploring the intersection of science and art. His work is focused in manipulating the physical through robotics and custom actuated machines driven by digital representations inspired by natural world. “Prototile” is a projection mapped, generative art piece exploring the relationship between tiled mathematical structures, folded relief patterns and projection light.
Leslie Benson: “I am fascinated by the way in which subtle, unseen energies affect, influence, and pervade our experience of life. We are perpetually saturated in a soup of particles, waves & frequencies, yet in the age of rationalism we have been encouraged merely to measure or quantify these phenomena with logic and reason. I believe we are so much more than our minds, or even our fives senses… My most cherished contact and interactions with the subtle energies inherent in our world is through opening myself as a channel for creation– to invite the unseen into the manifest and material realm.”

Project Color Corps™ believes in the power of color as a change agent to infuse a sense of well-being and energy into urban neighborhoods nationwide! In 2011, Laura Guido-Clark fulfilled her dream and founded Project Color Corps, a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to creating change by painting inner city neighborhoods with color and pattern that impart positive messages of optimism and hope. Color is a powerful language that speaks volumes and can empower us emotionally. We believe that color is transformational and that fresh paint has the power to improve the quality of life for children and residents of at risk, disadvantaged and under served communities.
