Event description

Design Museum SF’s Story Hour offers the opportunity to share tales of creativity and exploration, live and onstage. It begins with a theme and a group of storytellers. Each story is unique, drawing from the teller’s interpretation and experience. Whether it’s a student’s first forays or an established professional’s years of practice, their range of perspectives offer inspiration, commonality, and good fun. The theme for this event: Social Impact Design: Creative problem solving is perhaps most powerful when used for the public good, to help people in the most disadvantaged communities and underserved areas of the world. At the core of design is to make life better — using empathy and collaborating with subject matter experts, creative problem solvers are imagining innovative solutions to clear mine fields, provide clean water, and medical services for the people who need it most. We’re proud to partner with our host Adaptive Path!
