In a two-part day-long workshop, the San Francisco chapter of humanitarian design collective Open Architecture will work with community groups, designers, architects, and architecture fans on the process of community engaged design.
The AM session introduces the values and pedagogy of community engaged design. The PM session will address real design challenges brought to the workshop, develop structures for solutions through a series of exercises. To close the day, participants will share designs and discoveries and identify next steps for implementation with their community clients.
